The 129th China Import and Export Fairwill be held online between April 15 and 24. Continuing to hold the 129thsession online will consolidate the gains in the prevention and control of theCOVID-19 epidemic, as well as social and economic development. The Fair willfurther play its role as a platform for all-round opening-up, and help maintainthe smooth operation of the industrial and supply chains of foreign trade.
The exhibition themes of this sessionare basically the same with the previous one. The National Pavilion willinclude 16 product categories in 50 sections while the International Pavilion 6themes. All exhibition sections will start online displaying at the same timeon April 15. Exhibitor and product display, trade matchmaking, cross-bordere-commerce zones will be available to provide information, instant messaging,negotiation appointments and live-streaming marketing. To coordinate theprogress made in poverty eradication and rural revitalization, the Fair willdesignate a special zone for companies from formerly poor areas, to introducetheir products to international buyers. Following two successful onlinesessions, the Fair will further optimize the website to enhance services andconvenience, improve user experience and facilitate buyer-supplier transaction.The 129th Canton Fair will continue to exempt exhibitors and the cross-bordere-commerce platforms fees for participation to ease the difficulties ofenterprises and cut their costs.
