Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, is organizing the Mega Event
‘12th SAARC Fair and 9th WEXNET 2015’ at EXPO Centre, Lahore from 4th to 6th December 2015.
This year 12th SAARC Trade Fair will also be held with 9th WEXNET which is our local exhibition promoting products
of women entrepreneurs (WEs). SAARC is a platform to promote active collaboration and mutual assistance in the
economic, social, cultural, technical and scientific fields. It also accelerates economic growth, social progress and
cultural development in the region and provides all individuals the opportunity to live in dignity and to realize their full
potentials. Exhibitors from SAARC members and its observer countries will exhibit range of products in the exhibition
This mega event will provide platform / opportunity to manufacturers from SAARC countries to show case their products
and interact & develop linkages between SAARC countries exhibitors.
This is the 3rd SAARC Trade Fair to be hosted by Pakistan and first of its kind in Lahore scheduled to held from 4th to 6th December 2015 to mark the 30th anniversary of SAARC itself. It will be followed by conference which will held in Islamabad on 8th December 2015. Hence, this event is of special significance to Pakistan and SAARC member countries.
Following its enriched tradition of successfully organizing the trade events in the past, TDAP will hold this event in view of enhancing trade capacity of the region. TDAP will endeavor to provide a congenial platform to the local and foreign business organizations to improve and enhance their trade links through quality assurance and their mutual participation in the trade event. Exhibits will cover major product sectors e.g. textile, apparel, handicrafts, footwear, gift items, beauty care items, jewellery (artificial), food/confectionery etc.
The event plan will be as follows;
· Inauguration Ceremony on 4th December 2015 followed cultural show
· Participation certificate will be distributed on 6th December 2015
· Side line seminars will be conducted by CBI, Netherlands on 4th and 5th December, 2015
· Spot sale are allowed in the event.
Stalls of 9 Sq.m would be available at the cost of US$ 100 for the foreign exhibitors, with standard shell scheme and furniture items/display aids such as spot light, power connection, fascia, one table, two chairs, and waste paper basket for each stall. Additional display requirements over and above this package would also be available to exhibitors on payment basis. The participants will be responsible for transporting their exhibits directly; however, it may be made sure that it is in accordance with our import policy regime.
